You probably know that prisons are overcrowded. Every year in the United States, 636,000 people are released from prison, which it’s really concerning. The legal system does its job, but some criminal should stay locked up behind bars for a very long time.

 

As we said, 636,000 people are released from prison only in the United States, but think about how many are released in the rest of the world. According to an April 2011 report by the Pew Center on the States, the average national recidivism rate for released prisoners is 43%. So, almost half of the prisoners tend to do what they used to when they get out of jail.
