Christina Grimmie

  • Cause of death: murdered while signing autographs after a concert in Florida.

Christina Grimmie worked hard her whole life to become a successful woman and to conquer everyone’s soul with her songs, until the age of 22 when she was killed by a fan after a concert in Florida. Grimmie was an American YouTuber, singer and actress loved by millions of people.

According to officials, Grimmie was shot by 27-year-old Kevin James Loibl after initially opening her arms to give him a hug. According to Cory Dennington, Loibl’s only friend, the murderer was obsessed with Grimmie and started to follow her everywhere on social media, underwent Lasik surgery, opted for hair implants, whitened his teeth, and he even lost weight for her.

Grimmie’s brother tried to save her and attacked Loibl, so that was the moment when Loibl turned the gun fatally on himself. Dennington believes that Loibl probably decided to kill Grimmie when he realized that it was impossible to form a relationship with her, so he took her life instead.

Rebecca Schaeffer

  • Cause of death: murdered by an obsessed fan who had been stalking her.

Rebecca Schaeffer was an American model and actress who starred in the CBS comedy My Sister Sam. Regrettably, she was killed by an obsessed fan who had been stalking her when she was only 21 years old.

Robert John Bardo fell obsessively in love with Rebecca and started to write her letters. His obsession increased when Rebecca responded to his letters saying that they were the most beautiful letters she had ever received, then drawing a heart and a peace sign with a quote like this: “With love from Rebecca.” Robert tried to meet her at the studios where she filmed, but he failed. However, after watching a movie in which Rebecca starred in a love scene with a man, Robert got angry and started stalking her.

Yet, he paid a private detective to find her and asked the DMV for the address. He knocked at her door but she asked Robert to leave because he was wasting her time. Robert got angry again and shot her, saying after he was caught that “no matter what, I thought that was a very callous thing to say to a fan.”

Robert was sentenced to life in prison and authorities passed a law banning the DMV from providing personal information.
