Adriana Lima is a Brazilian supermodel and actress who worked for Victoria’s Secret from 1999 to 2018. In 2017, Lima was named the most valuable Victoria’s Secret Angel. Since 2014, our beautiful supermodel has been the world’s second highest paid model.
She was born in Salvador, Brazil. Her father was a carpenter and her mother a social worker, but she was raised only by her mother, as her father left the family when she was six months old. Before starting her modeling career, Lima dreamed of becoming a pediatrician.
When she was 15 years old, she finished in first place in Ford’s “Supermodel of Brazil”. Soon after, she moved to New York City and signed with Elite Model Management.
She worked for notable fashion brands, such as Armani, Versace, Prada, Guess, Miu Miu, Balmain, Louis Vuitton, and so on. She also appeared on the covers of numerous fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, Grazia, Cosmopolitan, Interview, to name a few.
In 2009, the model married Serbian NBA player Marko Jarić, and they have two daughters. They divorced in 2016.
