Marilyn Monroe was an American actress, model, and singer. She was (and is still) considered one of the most beautiful women of all time. When she was an actress, she was one of the highest paid actresses of the time. She spent most of her childhood in foster homes and orphanages and married when she was 16 years old.
She rose to fame when she met a photographer from the First Motion Picture Unit and began a successful modeling career. Before collaborating with him, she worked at the Radio Plane munitions factory. This modelling career led to film contracts with 20th Century Fox and Columbia Pictures. However, after these minor film roles, she signed with Fox and received several big roles and became famous.
She even went through a scandal when the media revealed that she had posed for nude photos before becoming famous, but it didn’t affect her career though.
