Michael Gambon

Michael Gambon is an Irish-English actor who started his acting career at the Royal National Theatre. He is well known for his role as Professor Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter film series.
He has received thirteen Olivier Awards for his work on the London stage, among other accolades. He also starred in The Insider (1999), Gosford Park (2001), Amazing Grace (2006), and The King’s Speech (2010), to name a few.
According to the media, Gambon retired from stage acting in 2015, but continues to act on screen.
