According to officials, Lennon had given his builder this expensive toilet to use as a plant pot when he bought a new one. The toilet was at the Tittenhurst Park home, where he lived with his second wife, Yoko Ono. In 2001, they launched the Kiss Kasket – a coffin decorated with a Kiss logo and images of the band members. Gene Simmons said, “I love livin’, but this makes the alternative look pretty damn good.” These caskets cost $3,300 and people could also use them as a drink cooler.
‘Dimebag’ Darrell – the guitarist of Pantera and Damageplan – was buried in a Kiss Kasket at his funeral in 2004, as well as his brother, Vinnie Paul, in 2018.
