One of the initiators of the female glam metal trend, Lita Ford was actually friends with Joan Jett when they were both part of The Runaways. While it’s true that her career was pretty short, Lita’s style, attitude and outstanding guitar skills (which helped her create hits such as Kiss Me Deadly) will always be remembered.
