You create an inefficient homemade disinfectant
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many people try to create their own homemade disinfecting products to sanitize their homes and other objects that they touch on a daily basis. But many of them, don’t pay attention to expiration dates, combinations of ingredients, or other factors that could make it ineffective or can be dangerous to their health. So, if you really want to make your own disinfectant, first try to do a little research and see if it can adversely affect your health if you touch or inhale it by mistake.Â
“As people create their own solutions, they do not keep track of the expiration of certain chemicals or worse, they only top off old solutions with newly bought ingredients,” says Jennifer Rodriguez, director of business development for Pro Housekeepers. “It is essential to create new bottles with new products as they are bought and to always keep track of expiration dates, avoiding mixing old solutions and new ones.”
