Don’t put mulch too close to your home
Mulch can be good for your plants, but not for your house. As you probably know, there are a lot of advantages of adding mulch to your beloved garden, as it not only helps to beautify the garden, but it can retain moisture in the soil which is beneficial to your plants.
However, if you put it too close to your home, you can cause some serious damage over time. The reason why mulch isn’t beneficial for your home per se is because of its moisture that allows termites to attack the structure of your home.
“Mulch retains moisture, causing rot and allowing termites easy access to the home,” explains Morgan.
