USS Cyclops

This U.S. Navy ship is one of the famous victims fallen to the notorious Bermuda Triangle. It was first launched in May 1910 and was commissioned for World War I, serving with the United States until it was reassigned to the Naval Overseas Transportation Service in January 1918. The ship vanished on its way to Baltimore after leaving Rio de Janeiro.

There was little known about what could have caused this disappearance, but it was believed to have been overloaded with 11,000 tons of steel and 306 crew members. Some say it may have been a German sub or the drunk captain that was to blame. But for now, no evidence has surfaced to help solve this mystery.
