Sudden cardiac arrest
A sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) occurs when your heart loses its function abruptly, as well as breathing and consciousness. This phenomenon takes place when the electrical system of your heart stops your heart from pumping blood into your body. In other words, it reduces blood flow to the brain.
However, this condition should be treated immediately, otherwise, it can lead to death. Unfortunately, if it happens when people sleep, they can’t get fast medical care, so they die.
The most common symptoms are no pulse, no breathing and loss of consciousness.
