Floors starting to warp
If you notice that your floors are starting to wrap it means that your home is suffering from serious structural problems or there may be a shoddy installation.
“Moisture hidden in the soil beneath your ground level will wreak havoc on finishes and structure,” including floorboards, says Colin Haentjens, a licensed architect and designer with The Knobs Company.
Haentjens recommends calling a home inspector before any severe structural damage occurs.
