Celine Dion
- Purchased item: a $2 million humidifier
Celine Dion is a Quebecois Canadian singer. She is the best-selling Canadian recording artist and one of the best-selling artists of all time with record sales of over 200 million worldwide. She gained international fame by winning the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest, representing Switzerland. Dion has won five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year. She’s also considered one of the most influential people in the world.
However, she takes care of her voice and health, so in 2002, during a three year residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, she decided to take a $2 million humidifier with her. She opted for this device to protect her voice from the harsh desert climate, so it was installed above the stage while she performed.
