You scroll while talking to someone else
As I said at the beginning of this article, there are several types of communication that involve either writing, speaking or mimicking. There are people who can be really good at all of these types of communication, while others excel at one. That being said, when you talk to someone face to face, then try to be an active listener and put your phone away. Checking your phone constantly when you are having a conversation with someone is one of the most common rude habits out there. In fact, if you use your phone during a conversation, you’re probably making others think you’re bored with what they say.
Of course, it’s important to have a phone, because we have to admit that they are actually useful, making our lives easier and more productive at the same time, but it’s essential to know when to put it away, as well as to avoid letting it control your life entirely.
