You should bring nature inside

If you bring natural elements in your houses, such as plants, wood items, organic candles or sand, you will be happier. “Everything we surround ourselves with impacts our emotional state,” says holistic interior designer Nora Bouz, who is also the founder of Lucida, Wellbeing by Design. “When we are mindful of what goes into our homes and how they’re arranged, they will transform into powerful places that support healthy habits and increase joy. Being out in nature (and therefore bringing natural elements into your home) can help reduce stress and induce positive emotions, a 2010 study by the Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine found.”
