Jackie Robinson gets his own museum
As you know, Jackie Robinson was a hero in the 1950s as a tireless activist for civil rights, not only as a Brooklyn Dodger. For many years the Jackie Robinson Foundation which was founded by Robinson’s Family back in 1972 has been working to open a museum in Manhattan and in April they started a process for bringing their collection of memorabilia to the public.
