With the success of the show “Orange Is the New Black,” in which she had one of the main roles, Cox soon became one of the most visible trans actresses. She starred as Sophia Burset, a role which brought her a lot of attention and lead Cox to develop into the first transgender actress to be proposed for an Emmy for Primetime acting.
Despite her fame, Laverne Cox has continued to face transphobic harassment, as she says. The actress disclosed in November 2020 that she and a friend of hers were the victims of a transphobic attack while walking in Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

i am transgender, but I wish I had that kind of money to look like these Ladies. They are Gorgeous. My Breasts are B Cup, but I wish they were bigger. And even though mine are a B cup, I am of that age to say the heck with it. But I do still dream. I do believe their Dreams are fulfilled. Congrats to them and others that love to dream.
