Tom Hardy

Tom Hardy is an English actor and producer who was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, two Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and two BAFTA Awards, receiving the 2011 BAFTA Rising Star Award.

He is an open minded actor who recognized in 2010 that he had relationships with men as well. “As a boy? Of course, I have. I’m an actor. I’ve played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now that I’m in my thirties, it doesn’t do it for me. I’m done experimenting but there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine,” Hardy told the Daily Mail.

In 2015, he responded harshly to a reporter when asked about his intimate preferences. “I’m under no obligation to share anything to do with my family, my children, my sexuality — that’s nobody’s business but my own. Destigmatizing sexuality is important, but to put a man on the spot in a room full of people designed purely for a salacious reaction? To be quite frank, it’s rude,” he told the Daily Beast.
