Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was an iconic American actress, model, and singer. She gained worldwide fame because she played comedic ‘blonde bombshell’ characters. Nowadays, she is still considered one of the most beautiful ladies of the 1950s and 1960s. Before her death in 1962, the actress was one of the highest paid actresses, but for only a decade. She was considered a sex symbol of the 20th century and was adored by famous presidents, actors and people from all over the world.

It’s no secret that everybody knows her marriages with Arthur Miller and Joe DiMaggio and her affairs with President John F. Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, and Marlon Brando, but what many people don’t know about this rare beauty is that she liked being with women as well.

Monroe is believed to have had an intimate relationship with Joan Crawford and Natasha Lytess. Monroe met the actress and drama coach Lytess in 1948 and they allegedly formed a serious relationship that lasted for about four years. It seems that they broke up when Monroe married DiMaggio in 1952.
