In 2020, Joaquin Phoenix won an Academy Award for best actor for his great performance in Joker. During his acceptance speech, he tackled different subjects, saying that he doesn’t feel superior compared to the other nominees because everyone puts their hearts and souls into acting.
After that, he stated that he has thought about some of the biggest issues that the world was facing, such as queer rights, racism, gender inequality, and animal rights.
He added the fact that he believes humans are very disconnected from the world, saying that “We go into the natural world, and we plunder it for its resources”.

I will NEVER watch an old or new movie with will Smith in it EVER!!!! He has disrespected the academy, the entire entertainment industry, all adults watching and especially young adults and children!!!
Absolutely Will Smith should not have slapped Chris Rock even though he made a joke about Pinket Smith and her hair. Chris Rock did not know she had alopecia. Will Smith totally lost it. Will not watch the Oscar’s anymore.
