Loretta Devine

Loretta Devine is an American actress and singer born in Houston, Texas. She rose to international fame after starring in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls and Waiting to Exhale. In 1976, our talented actress received a Master of Fine Arts in Theater from Brandeis University.
Her role as Adele Webber on the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series in 2011.
However, although she is 71 years old, Devine is still involved in the film industry, so she landed a starring role in 2021’s “Queen Bees.”
