In 2017, when Melania Trump met with Brigitte Macron, the first lady of France, she chose to wear an elegant, mid-length red skirt suit. She paired the outfit with some high-heels in the same color and a pair of black oversized sunglasses.
The inspiration that stood behind this look is a similar outfit Jackie O wore in 1962 at the White House when she talked about her plans regarding the new National Culture Center which became The Kennedy Center. Even though Mrs. Kennedy liked wearing the same color from head to toe, she chose a red skirt-suit and a pair of black pumps for the occasion.
