Sophie B. Hawkins is a beloved American songwriter, musician, and painter. She gave birth to her first child in 2008, a boy she named Dashiell Gaston Hawkins.
When her kid was a little older, the artist decided that it was time to give her son a sibling so she turned to science for that. She was implanted with some of the 15 embryos she had frozen and she gave birth to her daughter, Esther Ballantine Hawkins, when she was 50 years old.
Several people believed that she might not be young enough to deal with a newborn, but the celebrity said that she was more than happy to do so. As she told Us Weekly, “being 50 is actually an amazing age to have a second child because I am more wise, calm, humorous, appreciative, simple and clear”.
