Apparently, Selena’s mother gave birth to her when she was only 16 years old. Things weren’t easy for them at all, especially with their humble financial status.
Selena’s parents were so poor, her mother would have to work 3 different jobs to have enough to put on the table for them. When she was 5, her parents separated. As she says, “I was frustrated that my parents weren’t together, and never saw the light at the end of the tunnel where my mom was working hard to provide a better life for me. She gave up everything for me, had three jobs, supported me sacrificed her life for me.”
Today, Selena and her mother are the producers of a brand new Netflix series. The actress and singer makes sure that her mother knows how much she appreciates her and they live a dream-life together.
