When she was young, Oprah was sexually abused, beaten and ran away from home at just 13 years old. Her grandmother was constantly beating her with a stick and she was molested by her uncle, cousin and family friends as well. While she was still very young, Oprah got pregnant, but she lost the baby shortly after birth. When she tried to discuss her problems with her family at 24 years old, no one believed her. I think it’s needless to say what Oprah has become since then.
