When thinking about the fact that a woman was so powerful in the 16th century that an entire era was named after her, one can’t help but wonder. Queen Elizabeth’s dedication was so great, that England got to celebrate its greatest military victories against the Spanish Armada during her reign. Among the radical decisions she had to make for her country, she also made one for herself: to never marry or develop sexual relationships. And so she has!
