American Horror Story star Angela Bassett tried to have children with her husband Courtney B. Vance for seven years. She went through seven whole years of failed fertility treatments, including the excruciating IVF. It was only when a friend mentioned she was having a baby via a surrogate that Bassett started to consider the option. Bassett ended up using a surrogate to have twins, who were born on January 28, 2006.
