You don’t clean your gutters regularly
One of the most important tasks that you have to do regularly is to clean your gutters. “Debris builds up and blocks or impedes the gutter’s water flow,” leading to water damage inside your home, according to Mark Scott, president of Mark IV Builders, Inc.
Scott recommends cleaning them at least three times a year because that build up can lead to serious damage to the foundation of your home. Why do this regularly? Because your gutters will fill with leaves, sticks and other debris that can lead to clogs and result in water creeping under the roof and into the foundation of your house.
