7. Soichiro Honda
In case you thought the Honda car company has been there since forever, it took a really hard struggle for its creator, Soichiro, to make it popular.
By the time he was 18, Soichiro knew how to build a car and he made his own company when he was 22. However, a bomber attack during the WWII destroyed all of his vehicles.
He quit business and started to produce alcohol in his backyard. One day, though, he thought about using a radio generator to power a bicycle – and that’s how the first invention of the Honda company started. The rest is history.
