Back in 2012, employees were opening a beach-side bar for the day when they noticed something out of the ordinary. “We saw something bobbing about in the sea and we took it out of the water,” said an employee. “It was a life-sized Lego toy.”

Maybe it was my substandard education that made me think that when the title here says “washed up on shore” it actually meant that they washed up.
How do cannonballs “wash up” on shore? Or fossilized bones, an airplane or a skull?
