1910s: Honeymooning in Yellowstone
Shirley’s grandparents, Herman and Agnes Licht, traveled from Madison, Wisconsin, to Yellowstone National Park on their honeymoon in 1916. Yellowstone became America’s first national park on March 1, 1872.
