The idea came after San Calagione and Eric Crawford, Vice President of Sales at Mace Security International remembered the good old days when they played on the same varsity football theme.
So, they agreed that it would be amazing to make a beer with sugar, chicory, milk, coffee and two varieties of mace. You should know that this beer is limited edition and it’s brewed with oleoresin capsicum – an active ingredient in Mace’s pepper spray.
“We’re always in search of unique, avant-garde, experimental beer ideas that push the boundaries of traditional brewing while still delivering rich aromas, flavor profiles and culinary ingredients that Dogfish beer fans count on and love,” Sam Calagione said in a statement.
