Well, this was pretty close to be true. Studies revealed that women get paid 77 cents to every dollar a man makes, which creates a 33% gender wage gap. However, the study was pretty general and didn’t compare women to men’s wages at the same workplace. Women are statistically more likely to work part-time and in lower-paying fields than men. Men are more likely to work longer hours and in more dangerous occupations.
