Rotterdam’s police are developing a new and controversial pilot program that aims at reducing crime. This program it’s for those who are wearing designer clothing or expensive jewels and don’t seem to afford them. So, if they aren’t able to prove to the police that they can afford those expensive items, their items will be confiscated on the spot.
This uncommon program will run for a limited time will be just for a test and the Rotterdam police department will collaborate with the public prosecution department for helping them to determine what items they can legally confiscate. Well…the main idea in all of these it’s to keep a warning sign between those who stole expensive items – they can’t get away with this.
