Considering the fact that both diamonds and death are eternal, it may make sense why a Swiss company thought about mixing the two. The European startup called Algordanza is using the remains of loved ones to create memorial diamonds that are later turned into delicate jewels.

The human body also contains around 20% of carbon, which remains after a corpse is cremated. That’s exactly what the company uses in order to grow synthetic diamonds!
