Why They Took The Cocaine Out
As you probably already know, the name of Coca-Cola comes from the impressive amount of cocaine the drink included at the beginning of the 1900s. In 1903, they removed the cocaine entirely, but they didn’t really have to because the US government only banned cocaine in 1914. So why did they do it? Racism.
Because Coke was so affordable — at around a nickel a bottle — anyone could buy a coke, and that included blacks. Whites feared “negro cocaine fiends” would rape white women, all hopped up on nickel Coca-Colas.

But Coke did NOT return to the “old” formula; the old was sweetened with cane sugar, the now brought back “classic” Coke was sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, and this crap is giving people diabetes.
you mean it is being “moderated” to make Coke happy…….
