Bulgaria
One of the most interesting traditions of Bulgaria (and even Europe) are these giant costumes that probably feel those wearing them extremely hot. The Babugeri come out in the town of Bansko to celebrate the New Year wearing these costumes that sometimes reach 1.5 meters in height.
The tradition says that these guys must dance and brush against married women to bring them luck and children.
