5. Island Of The Dolls – Mexico
Located pretty close to Mexico City, Island of the Dolls is by far the scariest place in all Mexico.
The legend says that Don Julian Santana, the only inhabitant of the island, once found the body of a drowned girl in a canal. After being possesed by the girl’s spirit, he started to gather up dolls and hang them in the trees until he died as well by drowning. The island is filled with mutilated dolls all over the place.
