Book your flight on low-demand days
Not only does the day and time of your flight matter, but so does the day that you actually buy your tickets. In general, it’s cheaper to buy your tickets early on in the week (around midnight) since airlines tend to launch their sales on Tuesdays. The weekends are also cheap (as there are no business travelers crowding the market during this time).
