Sometimes, booking ahead of time can save you money. But, so can procrastinating and booking last minute (yes, something good can actually come from procrastinating)! Airlines typically cut prices when they can’t fill seats for an upcoming flight (typically weekend trips where you leave Friday and return Monday or Tuesday).
