In 2013, Jennifer Lawrence won the Best Actress Award for Silver Linings Playbook at the Academy Awards. She was so surprised and stunned when she was announced, that on her way to claiming the prize, she fell midway up the stairs.
As we all know by now, she has a very good sense of humor and she used it to get out of this awkward situation. During her acceptance speech, she thanked everyone in her usual straightforward tone, saying “You guys are just standing up ’cause you feel bad that I fell, and that’s really embarrassing, but thank you”.

I will NEVER watch an old or new movie with will Smith in it EVER!!!! He has disrespected the academy, the entire entertainment industry, all adults watching and especially young adults and children!!!
Absolutely Will Smith should not have slapped Chris Rock even though he made a joke about Pinket Smith and her hair. Chris Rock did not know she had alopecia. Will Smith totally lost it. Will not watch the Oscar’s anymore.
