1. The Imitation Game
The movie plot was largely based on Alan Turing’s biography, entitled “Alan Turing: The Enigma”. Benedict Cumberbatch played the role of the brilliant computer scientist Alan Turing, who is arguably the father of computer science. In the movie, the actor had to play this talented genius, who had the mission of decoding the Enigma code, used by the Nazis to provide security for their audio messages. The movie depicts the journey of Alan Turing in his brilliant calculation methods and the process that a “science God” goes through when needing to adjust to society.
