2. Apocalypse Now
This magical movie is based on a real story that happened to Joseph Conrad, who is also the author of the novella “Heart of Darkness”, which the movie is based on. The plot was inspired by the subject of a man’s disintegration, turned into madness. It can be considered a worthy metaphor in the times of Southeast Asian conflict quagmire.
Although the narrative is somehow adapted, it is an incredible story on survival and the journey of a strong hero who needs to complete a war mission. And if you ever were a fan of The Doors, you’ll be hypnotized only by listening to the soundtrack.
