2. Vera Farmiga
Even though Vera Farmiga is a well-known actress for her role as Lorraine Warren in the Conjuring Universe films, there are a few people who don’t know that her parents are actually Ukrainian.
She was born in the United States and she was raised in a Ukrainian community in New Jersey. The star learned English when she joined kindergarten at the age of 6.
She didn’t forget about her Ukrainian roots, so when she was 12 years old, Vera was actually a very talented Ukrainian folk dancer. She considers herself as being “100% Ukrainian-American” and we believe she’s right!
