4. Bob Dylan
Many people consider folk singer Bob Dylan as being “the Shakespeare of his generation”. He was so talented, that he wrote over 500 songs and he sold tens of millions of albums. In addition to that, he received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, for his great creativity and talent.
Even though the star was born in Minnesota and was considered an American citizen, he had Ukrainian roots. His paternal grandparents were Ukrainian Jews, who used to live in Odessa before relocating to the United States in 1905, following the pogroms against Jews.
