There are some stars that you may not even know have passed away. Some of these names you might recognize, while others may have faded in recent years. But each of these people has left a mark on the entertainment industry and some of our lives.
For instance, in Las Vegas, Siegfried and Roy were a significant act. The German duo was known for their elaborate show, which included tigers. That all came to an abrupt halt when in 2003, Roy Horn got mauled by a 400-pound tiger. After this, the pair only did one more show together before retiring. Roy died in 2020 from complications due to Covid.
If I say the name James Rebhorn, you probably won’t know who that is, which is why in Hollywood, he got the “Hey, it’s that guy” reputation. Playing in over 100 roles, James usually took on the stern, middle-aged, and stubborn authority figure jobs. He was diagnosed in 1992 with melanoma, and after battling the disease, he passed away in 2014 when he was 65.
Lastly, who could forget Edward Herrman as Richie Rich’s dad or Rory Gilmore’s grandfather? You may have even heard him on a lot of projects for the History Channel. Sadly, he passed away right before the Gilmore Girls revival could take place in 2014 from brain cancer.
