JOHN RITTER
Primarily known as Jack Tripper from Three’s Company, this highly respected Golden Globe winner comes from a family of actors, including his father Tex and sons Tyler and Jason.
In September 2003, Ritter died of an aortic dissection at a hospital in Burbank, CA. When he began to show symptoms of a heart attack on the set of ABC’s 8 Simple Rules, he was taken to the hospital.
Doctors realized too late that he had an aortic dissection and was then quickly taken into surgery, but unfortunately, it was too late. Later that night, he passed away, just a few days before his 55th birthday.
