ROY KINNEAR
This British character actor was best known for his roles in films directed by Richard Lester. The Three Musketeers, The Beatles’ Help!, and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory are among them.
While shooting the third act of The Three Musketeers, Roy fell from a horse on September 19th, 1988. He suffered internal bleeding along with a broken pelvis. Even though he was taken to the local hospital in Madrid, Kinnear had a heart attack the next day due to his injuries.
Roy’s family sued the film’s director and the production company when they found out that the rushed speed of filming contributed to the accident along with the producer because he was cutting corners to save money and time. The family settled for £650,000 in 1991.
