4. Whitney Houston
The well-known singer, Whitney Houston, probably had one of the most tragic drug-related deaths in the showbiz world. She was the most awarded woman of all time, with a total of 415 awards received throughout her career that began in 1977 and ended in 2010. But all the awards in the world seem to have failed to please Houston and keep her away from the consumption of illegal substances.
Unfortunately, Whitney met her death in 2012, at the age of 48, after years of cocaine and other drug abuse. Before the tragedy, the artist had spent several days in Los Angeles and was preparing to go to a party that prefaced the Grammy Awards. She went into the bathtub and told her assistant that she had a sore throat. Later, she was found in really hot water, by her assistant.
