She started her professional acting career in the 1970s by starring in Women in Revolt (1971). However, she rose to international prominence after portraying Carrie White in the horror film Carrie (1976).
In addition, the actress continues to work and loves acting on television – she is set to star opposite J.K. Simmons in “Lightyears.”
